NextUp uses a collective approach to increase the scale, quality, and impact of out-of-school time programs throughout the city. Direct service providers in the NextUp Network offer youth hands-on learning and enrichment opportunities that motivate and inspire them to success. Network providers have access to free professional development opportunities and quarterly networking events.
Providers are invited to submit program applications twice per year through the Out-of-School Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
Explore available program funding opportunities through NextUp and application information. See our General FAQs for more information on this process.

NextUp RVA is a nonprofit organization helping youth discover their talents and build positive relationships. It does this by managing a strong system of accessible out-of-school time programs delivered in schools and across the city. When youth participate in quality out-of-school time programs, they learn new skills, find out what they are good at, gain confidence and are engaged learners.
