ART 180’s 2025 Block Party

On Friday, May 2, Art 180 is shutting down the block and filling it with a big celebration of creativity, community, and collective joy.

Outside, they’ve got youth-led art activities, performances, DJs, live music, yoga in the street, a Maker Space, local food trucks, and mooooore. Inside, they have Atlas Gallery: Office Hours.

Office Hours brings together Richmond’s boldest creatives, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders offering 10-minute, one-on-one advice sessions. Real talk, and insight for young people and community members alike. Learn from our city’s creative leaders, elevate your ideas, and get practical feedback on building your creative, entrepreneurial vision. We’re prioritizing wisdom over gatekeeping, growth over grind.

Inspired by Richmond changemakers like John Mitchell Jr., who used his voice, talent, and platform to push back against racist systems, this year’s Block Party honors the past and builds the future through creativity, connection, and expansive collective joy.
