NextUp is pleased to announce the launch of the Middle School Alliance, a collective impact approach to strengthen afterschool programming, resources, and support services for Richmond youth and families. We are excited to have the opportunity to deepen our partnerships with two phenomenal youth development agencies: the YMCA and the Boys and Girls Club of Metro Richmond. Together, working alongside the City of Richmond, Richmond Public Schools, and OST partners, we intend to serve more youth and families with the evolution of our core model work in RPS middle schools.

NextUp RVA is a nonprofit organization helping youth discover their talents and build positive relationships. It does this by managing a strong system of accessible out-of-school time programs delivered in schools and across the city. When youth participate in quality out-of-school time programs, they learn new skills, find out what they are good at, gain confidence and are engaged learners.
