Communities in Schools of Richmond: Level Up (Transition Event)

Eight grade (Henderson) and ninth-grade students (John Marshall) will interact first in writing and then in-person. The event is designed to support the middle to high school transition process. First, the writing campaign will allow eight grade students to ask questions about high school and receive a personal response from a ninth grader. Both cohorts will join together in a lunch time (cookout) event to interact and have further conversations and support each other through the process.
