Description: RVA MakerFest is a free, annual event that connects STEAM experiences with attendees, bringing together makers, artists, engineers, entrepreneurs, and curious minds of all ages for hands-on discovery and inspiration. Teens can explore interactive booths featuring 3D printing, robotics, electronics, woodworking, and sustainability technology, plus live FIRST® Robotics demonstrations from award-winning local teams. Held each October at Deep Run High School in Glen Allen, RVA MakerFest is one of the best free STEM-focused events in Greater Richmond for youth ages 11–19 and their families.
